Today I had the pleasure of attending the Plymouth Housing Group Key to Hope Luncheon. I am thrilled to be part of an organization that is having such a positive impact on housing in Seattle.
As a real estate agent, I have the opportunity to help people find their first homes and their dream homes. It is such an exciting time for buyers. Plymouth understands the power that comes from having a place to call your own. PHG believes in a “housing first” philosophy to empower those who have been less fortunate. By addressing the basic need of shelter, it provides a safe place for them to receive essential supportive services and begin to rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind.
It was a privilege to hear human rights activist, Bryan Stevenson as the keynote speaker. As he shared his stories, he filled the room with hope and inspiration. I highly recommend his TED talk or pick up his book, Just Mercy.
It fills my heart to be able to support Plymouth Housing Group and the work they do. I believe in giving back to a world that is so generous, so a portion of every sale goes to support causes I believe in. Plymouth Housing Group and Windermere Foundation are two worthy organizations making an impact in the lives of others.
